Marriage and Mammon
Either the pattern of marriage comes from the law of human nature or it does not.
If it does, the implications are clear. If it does not, the implications are equally clear.
If civil institutions forget, or choose willfully to violate natural law, why go with them?
You do not need a government to pronounce you married. The elements of marriage are by definition the agreement of the proposed spouses and the consent of the father of the bride.
And if you are doing so for the tax benefits, is that not mammon?
A man cannot serve two masters, but has to make his choice.
